If you're reading this, you probably already got to see our Christmas cards this year. 2012's cards came about while we were vacationing in July.... We were driving down the main drag in the Dells (which is great- only if you're looking for fudge or t-shirts) and I happened to see a t-shirt display of these "Sis" shirts outside one of the stores. I made Dan stop- and we bought a t-shirt for each one of the girls... as visions of adorable holiday cards danced in my head....
Fast forward to December. I had one excited and cooperative 5 year old, a crabby 3 year old, and one very wiggly 9 month old. There went my grand plans of a cute Christmas card! Originally, I wanted a shot of all 3 girls together- HA! After (many) failed attempts, I finally just thought of taking individual shots of each and piecing them together on one card. I am still not super thrilled with the final project, but..... go ahead and judge for yourself:
Here are a few shots that didn't make the card:
See? I TOLD you the 5 year old was the cooperative one!
A few of the few shots where Lucy wasn't throwing a fit (I deleted all those!)
Yeah... taking a picture of all 3 together just wasn't going to work...
Ok... fast forward to early January. A lazy Sunday afternoon and I decided to dress all the girls in the "Sis" shirts again... and tried taking some more pictures. These were a bit more successful, I think!
