Recently, Maggie has become OBSESSED with letters, numbers, "reading" signs, etc. The teacher in me is THRILLED! At night, after Lucy goes to bed, Maggie does her "homework" (her word, not mine!) while I grade papers and stuff for school. We started with the letter "M" but Maggie soon grew bored with that! The other night, she said "help me with the g's, mom!" And this is what she did....
This is another one she started, but ran out of room...so she added the "ie" to the front. Why not? Last night, she drew a picture of me. She wanted to write my name on it. I dictated "mom" and this is what we got! Pretty impressive!
And this one, by far, is my favorite. While I paid some bills, Maggie was hard at work. When I asked what she was working on, she said "I drew a picture of dad for his work!" Look closely. See the goatee? And big eyes? It's his glasses. Awesome.
