Riding several hours in a car with an active toddler is much different than traveling with a baby who sleeps most of the way... Keeping Maggie occupied for the long ride to and from MN was, to say the least, a challenge! Books, crayons, singing "The Wheels on the Bus" all begin to lose their appeal when you are strapped in a carseat for over 4 hours. At one point, after Maggie pulled her socks off for the 5th time, we told her to "clean out her toe jam." BRILLIANT! This seriously kept her busy for a half-hour.....
Then, we FINALLY caught her on camera singing her ABC's.... She is too smart to do it for the "real" video camera, but I think I tricked her with the digital camera. (I apologize for the bumpiness- we were on the road!)
