It's about time...

Mark and Laura's one month anniversary passed just this week.... and I took that as a sign that it was about time I sat down and finally posted pictures! Laura made a beautiful bride. The weather was awesome. Maggie and Keiran did a great "flowergirl" job. Overall, a truly perfect day!

Maggie and Keiran cut a rug! (Note: Maggie took a note from the other women at the reception and lost the uncomfortable dress shoes!)

Lucy was SOOOOO exhausted by this point, but would NOT give in and stop dancing.....

Lucy- rested, refreshed, and ready to go!

Wedding Photos Coming Soon.. I promise!

In the meantime, I thought I'd recap a conversation from the car this afternoon:
Maggie sneezes.
Me: "Bless you, Maggie J."
Maggie: "Not 'bless you' mom- you're 'posed to say "zoon ties" like they do on Mickey Mouse Clubhouse."
Me: "Maggie, I think it's 'Gezundheit.'"
Maggie: "NO, Mom. Zoon ties. They tie your nose closed so you can't let anymore sneezes out."

WI State Fair

In all the craziness that was the month of August, we did manage to find a day to meet up with a group of friends to spend a day at the Wisconsin State Fair. It was SUPER hot- but we had a blast! 5 adults, 8 kids, one pregnant belly, 4 strollers, and 100 degree weather....what more could you ask for?
Maggie and her friend, Ryan
(PS: Ryan's mommy insists they could be siblings.... if Maggie ever goes missing, I'm headed to Lindsay's house first!)

Great America

The first week of August, Mom, Dad, Maggie, Ant Jood, Gary, and cousins Emme and Davan spent the day at Six Flags Great America in Gurnee, IL. It was a really fun day- and the girls had such a great time- riding all the rides and somehow managing to get super wet in the process. Maggie's favorite part was "the pirate ship" ride.... She got to ride twice with Gary and Emme!

First stop- the carousel, of course!

This ride was a little scary for Gary!

Next stop? The hot air balloons with Ant Jood!
