Lucy is 3 months old!

This past week, Lucy turned 3 months old... where does the time go? She is doing so great! She loves to spend time on her tummy and rolled over on her own when she was only 8 weeks old. She is so smiley and has become quite the "talker!" She coos and chatters and we think she is getting close to giggling... We tried to get a video of Lucy "talking," but, with Maggie's help, you can see how that turned out below....

One of our new favorite Lucy pictures!

These jeans were just too ridiculous not to get a full body shot...

Family Time

A few weekends ago was Auntie Katie's wedding shower here in Kenosha. It was so great because all of the Sichmeller family was in town for the weekend and Maggie and Lucy had a great time playing with their cousins!

Kenosha County Fair

Back in August, momma, gramma, and the girls headed out to the Kenosha County Fair. It started out great- we got to ride the carousel, see lots of animals, and eat yummy fair food.... Then, the rain started. It rained and rained and rained. At first we ran from booth to booth and from buiding to building to try and stay dry. When we came to realization that it was going to just keep raining, we got soaked and had a blast. Maggie jumped in every puddle she saw.... and even had gramma jumping in a puddle or two along the way!

the goats...

the cows...

the pigs...

the chickens...

and an elephant?!?!?

All that fun "fair food," and all Maggie wanted was "a big pretzel..." She ate the entire thing!

Whee! This is what a $4.50 carousel ride looks like!

Just because...

With mom headed back to work last week, we are a little behind on updating the blog. New pictures will be posted by this weekend- we promise! In the meantime, let's recap a conversation from our van ride home from school yesterday:

Maggie: "Momma, look! There's a geese!"
Mom: "Maggie- it's a goose."
Maggie: "Yeah, momma. A geese! It's flying away!"
Mom: "Mags, when there is only one, it is called a GOOSE. When there are a bunch of them, they are called GEESE. How many do you see?"
Maggie: "Only one geese, momma, flying in the sky."
Mom: "Goose, Maggie. Just one is called a goose."
Maggie: "Never mind, momma. I see a seagull instead."

Picnic!

On Sunday, we went to a picnic at Bristol Park to celebrate cousin Milan's baptism. It was such a nice day and a great opportunity to visit with family. Maggie had a blast playing with her cousin Everett and loved dragging Ant Jood's friend Gary all around, too!

Lucy, in full "watermelon" picnic gear!

Poor Lucy always has "plumber butt" in her diapers!

Maggie and Everett playing ladderball...

...and running around...

...and looking at the horses with Uncle Dan...

...and eating cake...

Tonight Lucy and Mommy had some "alone" time while Daddy went to a Pheasants Forever meeting and Maggie went on a "secret mission" with Gramma and Papa (someone has a birthday this week....Hmmm...) Anyway- Lucy was in such a happy mood, mommy just kept snapping away- Here are some favorites!

Mommy was blowing raspberries to make Lucy smile... She was trying to imitate!

Look at all those chins!

Up close and personal!

Minnesota- Here I come!

This past weekend, Maggie and daddy traveled to Minnesota to visit. Daddy spent Friday at the Hazeltine golf tournament with Grandpa Mark and Laura, while Maggie stayed home with Grandma Bernie and splashed in the pool with Keiran, Kayden and Auntie Kristin! It was a super fun weekend, and Maggie has not stopped talking about her trip!

This was a few hours before they were to leave (just a little excited...)

Here are a few pictures Grandma Bernie took over the weekend:

Here we go!

Playing with Kayden (someday Lucy will be fun like this!)

Mags, Keiran and Kayden- bathing beauties!

Got to love the matching swimsuits!

Buddies!

I have a feeling they were supposed to be napping here...
