2012 was a "Sichmeller" Christmas, which meant we stayed here in town to celebrate with mom's side of the family. It was pretty low-key... but we had a blast! It was super fun to have the two older girls really get into Christmas this year. They were so excited about Eli- our Elf on the Shelf, Santa and all his "magic," and of course, the nativity and the story of baby Jesus' birth!
All dressed and ready for Christmas Eve mass!
Sisterly Love!

As a special surprise, Aunt Kath dug out her accordion and played some Christmas tunes. The kids thought it was awesome!
My girls!
Eli, our Elf on the Shelf, brought the girls matching pajamas to wear on Christmas Eve!
Mom's friend Megan mailed our family a huge box of Christmas goodies from MI, including all these fun rubber duckies. Even with all the fun, new toys, Lucy spent a better part of Christmas morning playing with the ducks! They were quite a hit!
Ready to celebrate with Gramma and Papa! Look at all those presents!
Papa made each of the families a toy box for Christmas... definitely a favorite gift for everyone!
