A little random Lucy-ness....

Lucy. Oh, Lucy. She is becoming more and more of a person and less of a "baby" every day! She loves to giggle, climb, follow Maggie around, do color crayons, play dollies, climb, make animal noises, climb, and, of course, eat. She's not talking as much as Maggie was at this age, but she really doesn't need to. She gets pretty much whatever she wants by pointing and grunting, and Maggie does a great job of speaking up for her! Some of her favorite words are: daddy, monkey, cookie, owie (this is a popular one while she gets her hair combed), bye-bye, and, of course, Papa. (Did anyone notice that "mommy" did not make this list?) Here are just a few pictures from the past month or so!
Silly!

Dinner was EXHAUSTING!

This is what happens when we let dad in the kitchen...

Yes. He took the time to WEAVE the bacon.

Turtle for supper!

So proud!

Our Little Ballerina!

A few weekends ago, Maggie's dance school did a presentation during a "Ladies Night Out" at our local Fashion Bug store. If you ask Maggie, you would think she performed the lead in "Swan Lake"- she was very excited for her "recital!" It was truly more like a 10 minute demo in between sales racks!

One of the dances the girls do is the "Balloon Dance." Before they begin, each of the girls gets to describe her balloon. Most give one or two word descriptions. Then, there is our kid.

Maggie: "Mine is purple with golden stars and it has gold on it with hair ribbons and ponytail holders."

Samantha: "Blue with diamonds."
