This is what the kids say at daycare when they sit down for lunch.... I just think it's sooooo cute!

Open, Shut Them. Open, Shut Them.
Give a little clap!
Shut Them, Open Them. Shut Them, Open Them.

Place them in your lap.

Let us try to be the light (I think it's supposed to be "polite" but whatever...)
In everything we do.
Always remember our special words:
Please, excuse me, and you're welcome.
Let's eat!

Thank goodness Kleenex was on sale at Walgreens today....

Inside Papa's camera....

...Momma found all these great pictures! So we took the camera, uploaded them to our 'puter, and decided to share with you!

Silly Maggie....

Lucy is a rockstar!

Getting a bath in gramma's sink....

Not sure what they were looking at, but this picture is just too cute!

This picture isn't that great, but we included it because it shows off Lucy's shapely legs so well!

Maggie, reading the cookbook while Gramma bakes

Maggie was sick this past week and spent a lot of time in her jammies on Gramma and Papa's couch....

Gramma and Papa let Maggie play with "squeezers" (scissors) while they babysat the other day. Not so sure we're excited about Papa getting a "haircut....."

If you ever met Great Grandma (Irene) Sichmeller, this picture should make you laugh....
'Nuff said.

Why I don't let Maggie help with laundry....

If anyone can clue us in to where "boob rollers" may have originated, we would be so grateful....

Lucy is 3 months old!

This past week, Lucy turned 3 months old... where does the time go? She is doing so great! She loves to spend time on her tummy and rolled over on her own when she was only 8 weeks old. She is so smiley and has become quite the "talker!" She coos and chatters and we think she is getting close to giggling... We tried to get a video of Lucy "talking," but, with Maggie's help, you can see how that turned out below....

One of our new favorite Lucy pictures!

These jeans were just too ridiculous not to get a full body shot...

Family Time

A few weekends ago was Auntie Katie's wedding shower here in Kenosha. It was so great because all of the Sichmeller family was in town for the weekend and Maggie and Lucy had a great time playing with their cousins!
The "girls" at Katie's shower...
L-R: Davan, Nora, Paige, Emme, Grace, and Mags

Momma and her girls!

Sichmeller Grandkiddos!

Daddy and Lucy

Auntie Katie and Lulu

Gramma thought she would turn Lucy into a work of art

What a masterpiece!

Grace and Paige snuggle Lucy!

Kenosha County Fair

Back in August, momma, gramma, and the girls headed out to the Kenosha County Fair. It started out great- we got to ride the carousel, see lots of animals, and eat yummy fair food.... Then, the rain started. It rained and rained and rained. At first we ran from booth to booth and from buiding to building to try and stay dry. When we came to realization that it was going to just keep raining, we got soaked and had a blast. Maggie jumped in every puddle she saw.... and even had gramma jumping in a puddle or two along the way!

the goats...

the cows...

the pigs...

the chickens...

and an elephant?!?!?

All that fun "fair food," and all Maggie wanted was "a big pretzel..." She ate the entire thing!

Whee! This is what a $4.50 carousel ride looks like!

Just because...

With mom headed back to work last week, we are a little behind on updating the blog. New pictures will be posted by this weekend- we promise! In the meantime, let's recap a conversation from our van ride home from school yesterday:

Maggie: "Momma, look! There's a geese!"
Mom: "Maggie- it's a goose."
Maggie: "Yeah, momma. A geese! It's flying away!"
Mom: "Mags, when there is only one, it is called a GOOSE. When there are a bunch of them, they are called GEESE. How many do you see?"
Maggie: "Only one geese, momma, flying in the sky."
Mom: "Goose, Maggie. Just one is called a goose."
Maggie: "Never mind, momma. I see a seagull instead."
