Spring Fever!

The weather was WONDERFUL here this week. Monday was in the 60's, and yesterday we saw almost 75! It was great to have the windows open and get some fresh air into the house, but more importantly, it meant playing OUTSIDE and getting some fresh air into Maggie! Monday night was a bit chilly by the time we headed out, but the walkers all got a kick out of Maggie's hat.

(Maggie has started "screaming" lately... Not so fun. She does it, then looks at us and says "I scream!" Ummm, yeah... and please don't do it again! I find it terribly annoying- until I watched this video, and I just laughed and laughed and laughed.....

Tuesday morning Maggie got to stay home from school in the morning with daddy, and he took her outside and put her bike together that she got for Christmas from Ant Jood. Later that day, Maggie and momma rode the bike all the way to the park and played and played and played!

Baby, Oh Baby!

Last week, mommy went for her fourth (and final!) ultrasound. All is well, and they FINALLY got the shot of the lips/nose that they were after for so long. Baby is doing great.... Unfortunately, I had the ultrasound immediately following my glucose test, so baby was a bit "zipped up," and wasn't really interested in sitting still to have it's picture taken! I did get to see a great shot of baby's chunky face, with it's hands up, fingers spread all over it's cheek, but by the time the tech moved to take the picture, baby moved away! Surprise! Here are the latest (and probably last!) ultrasound pix:

Just 'cuz she's so cute...

As Maggie gets older, it gets harder and harder to snap a "good" picture- She is more interested in what Momma is doing than sitting still long enough for me to take the picture! These are some of the cuter ones I could catch this past week while she wrestled with daddy on the floor before bedtime! (and yes, she does own "girl" pajamas, too.... These glow in the dark, and are almost too small, so we're getting our wear out of them now... As for the "Handy Manny" jammies- well, she loves him!)

Clem

Clem was a gift from Grandma Bernie, waaaaaay back at my first baby shower. He was a favorite of daddy's when he was growing up, and sat on a shelf in Maggie's room for almost 2 years. Now that we are in her "big girl" room, she has suddenly "discovered" Clem, and has a newfound best friend. He gets bottles, gets his diaper changed about 12 times a day, and snuggles with Maggie at bedtime.
